duralumin construction with reverse tapered ebonite handles on Monel cross-bar winding arm mounted above a six point capstan star drag adjusting wheel, large rim mounted Monel auxiliary brake handle, Andreas patent anti-reverse drum mechanism, Monel block foot, backplate stamped make and model details, very good overall condition, only 46 examples of the largest size in the Fortuna range were produced between 1934-36, there are no factory records of how many of these were fitted with the optional auxiliary brake which was introduced as an optional extra in 1935 (see illustration)
