rectangular reservoir fitted six paper lined lift-out trays, fitted bars of nickel silver spring fly clips and holding a very good selection of 289 fully dressed salmon flies including large examples and some double irons, cabinet with green baize lined lid interior, brass lock and recessed white metal carry handle, outer hide case with brass hasp lock, twin securing straps (one a.f) and swing carry handle, stamped makers details and black stamped previous owners initials, reservoir dimensions 13” x 10” x 6”, circa 1895 (see illustration)
